I live life in cycles. I go gung-ho in one direction for a while, and soak up all I can about the thing I’m in to. I admit to a few obsessions that have risen and waned over my life.  Some I will probably never take up again in obsessed mode; like World of Warcraft, Vogue, cake decorating, and ribbon embroidery. Some will always thrill me and woo back my full attention. Like…

• History: in ANY form, shape, size or dustiness!
• Ancient theories: like alien intervention, super-intelligent races, mythology, etc
• Sewing
• Interior Design
• and Women “Liberation” (I have no idea how to say that, but you know what I mean.)

I used to balk at my ebb and flow, thinking I should have more constancy. But I’m okay with it now. With age I have realized it all evens out. To everything there is a season and a time.
