This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
God is patient.
God is kind.
God does not envy.
God does not boast.
God is not proud.
God is not rude.
God is not self-seeking.
God is not easily angered.
God keeps no record of wrongs.
God does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
God always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
God never fails.
1 Cor 13: 4-8 plus 1 John 4:8
This is short but very beautiful 🙂

WRONG…..!
For how can you know love outside the Church of God? Tell me? Is there in anyway you can practiced that ” LOVE”, which the authored had enumerated ?
The author shouldn’t have the right to enumerated that “LOVE”, and put it as an attribute of God. If once you enumerate it, you will make a contradiction.
I’ll give an example : He said ” God is not envy”. Had he not read that God is a jealous God?
FYI: That attributes should be possess by Christians, and not put it as an attribute of God. Cause to whom then will he practiced that? To other gods? It is written, There is no god before me, nor after me. So stick to what is written, “for God is Love”. period. Do not give other meaning that is not supplied by the bible.
So, that’s why I ask the author.

A good self-evaluation is to replace the word “love” in those verses with your name, as well. if we’re meant to show love, then we better fit those verses, right?

SO….what then ? is that all you can think of ?
After you have known God and His qualities, what is your next step ? Do you stop there?
Just asking……………

What does it mean to say God is love in a metaphysical sense? I suspect the answer is more difficult than it might seem.
