Scheltema Inheritance

A good man (or woman) leaves an inheritance to his children’s children. Proverbs 13:22

Seven years ago, my grandma passed away. She was a farmer’s wife, a believer in Jesus and a missionary’s mother. I didn’t know her that well, but when I read this verse, I think of her. In her legacy, she left a small bit of money for each of her grandchildren. I used her inheritance to enroll in a writing course. It took me six years, but I finished.

Thanks Grandma!

  1. ha! I started this course when I was pregnant with Cainan, but didn’t finish it. I didn’t realize you were taking it too! Good job sticking with it!
btw- this picture is one of my faves because it reminds me so much of my kids. =)
