Week 8 of 52
9) Practice 12 spiritual disciplines.
This month’s spiritual discipline is Bible intake in the form of meditation on the Word. I have been translating and exegeting the book of Galatians for my class this semester. This week, my meditation has been on Galatians 2-3. Specifically, on the purpose of morality for justification.
8) Complete 12 credits toward MDiv.
Working…
7) Connect with one person a week.
I called my mom.
6) Complete writing a 12-week Bible study.
I haven’t worked on this in three weeks.
5) Learn how to needle felt and create 25 sculptures.
Little sheepies. 8 of 25 done!
4) Complete 12 house/yard projects.
I got a lot done this week! Stephen and Eleanor were in Mexico for the first of the week, so I painted a wall of her room that she wanted to be a dark gray. I also painted the master bathroom and ceiling. Stephen wired 4 wall lamps when he got back, and began work on the linen closet.
The snow keeps falling, even though I’ve told it I’m itching to get in the dirt. Stephen and Henry tore down the little greenhouse I had in the garden between precipitation spells.
3) Move at least 15 minutes a day.
I walked every single day.
2) Fix my teeth.
The ortho smoothed down the buttons on my teeth that hold the Invisalign trays in place. Although, he was skeptical it would make much of a difference. I think it made a small difference when I eat. Things aren’t as jagged and pointy in there. This week’s trial with my teeth has been dry-mouth. Ugh, I hate that!
1) Hike to 12 new places.
Nothing new.
January: Hike to Twin Falls.
Good for you! I love the sheep!
