Every year I go to summer camp for a week as a counselor. I look forward to it all year. I leave tomorrow! I tried to get a few posts done ahead of time to schedule for next week, but 1 Cor 11 is too slippery and I had too many plates to spin, so I’m letting myself drop it.

• Instead of contemplating the ins and outs of head coverings, I’ll be snatching baseball caps off heads in the cafeteria!
• Instead of arguing women can speak up in church, I”ll be listening to 250 teenagers pray and worship God at the top of their lungs!
• Instead of wondering about man’s authority, I’ll be working hard to honor the authority 13 girls have given to me as their counselor.

So excited. I’ll be back in two weeks: camp and the requisite week of recuperating after camp.
